Threefold Development Partners

Press & media

Speaking topics

The practice questions the principals are prepared to address in panels, workshops, conference sessions and recorded conversations — with the same limits that govern every public appearance.

Approved subjects

Where the disciplines meet

  1. 01Where development projects break at the seam between capital, development and construction
  2. 02What an owner should control in a construction contract, and what is usually conceded
  3. 03Reading a stalled or distressed project honestly before deciding whether to continue it
  4. 04What a landowner should understand before selling or entering a joint venture
  5. 05The difference between a development consultant, an owner's representative and a fractional development leader

Formats

How a session may be structured

Panel or moderated discussion

A partner takes part alongside others and answers questions in his own discipline — capital, development or construction.

Workshop or teaching session

Practice material, worked through with an audience. Education sessions are usually run through the Academy rather than the firm.

Conference session or keynote

A single subject, prepared in advance, on the practice questions listed below.

Interview, podcast or recorded conversation

Same subjects, same limits. Recording and use are agreed in writing beforehand.

Invitation requirements

What organisers should send

  • The date, city, venue and the audience the session is for.
  • The format, the length and who else is on the platform.
  • Whether the session is recorded, and how the recording may be used.
  • Whether the partner is named in your promotion before the appearance is agreed in writing — he is not, until it is.
  • Which discipline the subject sits in, so the request reaches the partner who holds it.

Subject limits

What stays off the platform

  • Any figure about this firm: project counts, capital, returns, track record totals.
  • Any named client, site, lender or transaction.
  • Investment terms, fund terms, lending terms, or anything that could be read as an offer.
  • Legal, tax, appraisal or accounting advice, or a regulated opinion of any kind.
  • Another firm's work presented as this firm's work.

Send the date, format and subject

Use the media request form and choose a speaking or panel invitation. Sending a request records it for review; it does not hold a date, confirm an appearance, or permit promotional use of a partner’s name.

Nothing on this page confirms availability, accepts an invitation, or authorises recording or promotional use. Every appearance and use is agreed separately in writing.
