What we keep, and what we deliberately never ask for.

Who this notice covers

This notice applies to every page of this site, to the inquiry forms on it, and to the private partner area reached by signing in. It is written in the first person plural: “we” means Threefold Development Partners, and “you” means the person using the site or sending us an inquiry.

The shorter summary shown inside each form says the same thing in fewer words. Where the two could ever be read differently, this page governs.

What we keep

Only what you type into a form: your name, your organization if you give one, your email address, a telephone number if you choose to add one, the city or region you name, and the details of what you are bringing to us. We also keep the page the form was sent from, the reference we generate, the date it arrived, the version of this notice you were shown, and whether you ticked the separate mailing-list box.

We do not build a profile of you, buy information about you from anyone, or add anything to your record that you did not send us.

What we never ask for

We do not ask for banking details, account or routing numbers, tax identifiers, government identity documents, credit information, accreditation statements or financial evidence, and the public pages accept no file attachments at all.

If you send any of that anyway, we will ask you to resend the inquiry without it and delete what arrived. Please treat every form here as suitable for non-confidential information only.

Why we keep it

To read your inquiry, decide whether it fits what we do, reply to you, and keep an orderly record of the exchange. Nothing more.

We do not sell, rent or trade it, we do not use it to build advertising audiences, and we do not make any automated decision about you. Every inquiry is read and answered by a person.

Who can see it

The principals of this practice and the person handling intake. Submissions are held as private records that ordinary visitors, search engines and the public part of this site cannot read.

Two service providers are involved in ordinary operation: the platform that hosts this site and stores the records, and the service that delivers our notification and receipt emails. They process the information on our instructions and for no purpose of their own. We do not share your inquiry with any lender, investor, broker or other third party without asking you first.

How long we keep it

While the matter is live, and then for up to twenty-four months after our last exchange with you, after which the record is deleted. If a matter becomes a signed engagement, the records belonging to that engagement are kept for as long as that agreement and ordinary business and tax record-keeping require.

If you ask us to delete your record sooner, we will, and we keep only the bare fact that a deletion was carried out.

Keeping it safe

Records are stored in a private database that the public site has no read access to. Documents uploaded by approved partners are private to that account and are opened only through links that expire within a minute. Sign-in is by invitation and approval.

No system is perfect, and we do not claim certification to any security standard. We claim only what is true: the records are private by default, and access is limited to the few people who need it.

The mailing list is separate

A form never adds you to a mailing list. There is a separate tick box for that, unticked by default, and whether you tick it makes no difference to how your inquiry is read.

If you subscribe to the Threefold Project Brief, we keep your email address, the page you subscribed from and the time you consented, in a register kept apart from inquiry records. Every Brief carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and the link works without signing in. When you unsubscribe, the address stays on the register marked as unsubscribed so it is not mailed again. If an address is marked do-not-email, it is never re-enrolled, even if the form is submitted again.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics or session-recording tools, and shares nothing with advertising networks. The only stored values are the ones the site needs to work: keeping you signed in if you sign in, and remembering that you have already seen the opening animation.

Nothing you type into a form is ever used as a measurement value.

We do keep our own simple counts so we can see which parts of the site are used: a menu or button being used, a form being started, a form being completed, a saved enquiry, a confirmed subscription and a delivered document, plus outward clicks to the Academy or to an affiliated firm. Each count stores only the fixed name of that step, the pathway it belongs to and the time.

These counts never include your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, project description, any amount, any uploaded file or any free-text answer, and no visitor or session identifier, cookie, IP address, browser fingerprint or referrer is stored with them. Because nothing identifies you, the counts cannot be traced back to you and cannot be joined together to follow one person through the site. Nothing is sent to any advertising or analytics service.

The three tools on this site work entirely in your browser. Your answers and any figures you enter are never sent to us unless you deliberately submit a separate form.

What sending a form does not do

It creates no engagement, no confidentiality obligation, no fee arrangement and no commitment on either side. Please treat anything you send as an ordinary business record rather than a protected disclosure. Where a matter warrants confidentiality, we will put a written agreement in place first.

Your copy, correction or deletion

Use the privacy request page to ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction to it, deletion of it, or for us to stop contacting you. The request is saved as its own record with a reference and answered by a person, not an automated system. We answer within thirty days and confirm in writing when it is done. There is no charge.

We may need to confirm the request came from you before acting on it. Where we are required to keep something — for example an internal note that a deletion was carried out — we keep the minimum and tell you what remains. An address you ask us to stop using is recorded as do-not-contact and is never added back to the mailing list, even if a form is submitted again later.

What we did in response to a request is written to an internal action record, so the outcome can be evidenced later. That record holds the action, the reference and a count — never a copy of the information that was deleted.

Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights over your information. We apply the rights described here to everyone, wherever they are, rather than only where a law requires it.

This notice covers records held by Threefold Development Partners only. The Academy and the founder-affiliated firms are separate businesses holding their own records, and a request has to be made to them directly.

The partner area

Approved partners who sign in have an account holding their name, organization and email address, the inquiries matched to that email address, and any documents they choose to upload. Those files are private to that account. Signing in is by invitation and approval only, and an approval can be withdrawn.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

Changes to this notice

Each version carries an effective date and a version marker, and the version you were shown is stored with your submission so it is always clear what you were told at the time. This version is effective 18 September 2026. If we change it materially, the new date appears here.
