Biography
Felipe Soares is a real estate operator, fund manager and speaker based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Born in Brazil, he immigrated to the United States in 2010 and served as a firefighter and paramedic before moving into real estate full time — a first-responder background he credits for the habit of staying calm and deciding under pressure.
He closed his first real estate transaction in 2014, founded RAW REI in 2018 to help other investors build scalable businesses, and today serves as Founder and Fund Manager of RAW Capital Fund, a Texas real estate and private capital firm. On his own website he publishes a record of more than eighteen years of hands-on experience, 400-plus deals completed full cycle, more than $63 million in transaction volume and more than $45 million in private capital raised. Alongside operating work he speaks and teaches on deal strategy, underwriting discipline, private capital systems and building dealflow that does not depend on one person, published The 48 Laws of Flipping in 2021, and hosts Deal Maker DFW.
