Partnerships FAQ
Common questions, answered the same way we'd answer them in person.
Before you send either form, here is what the two partner conversations are — and what they are not. Every answer below reflects only what this site already says.
Is becoming a Capital Partner an investment offering?
No. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, an investment recommendation, or a commitment of capital. Threefold publishes no investment terms, target returns or availability, accepts no funds and collects no wire instructions.
Any offering would be conducted separately, under counsel's review, with its own issuer, exemption, communications and verification requirements. Joining this conversation does not create eligibility for any offering.
What happens after I send a form?
Your introduction becomes a private record with a reference number, and it is read by a principal — not scored by a form. The review comes back one of four honest ways: proceed, decline, redirect to paid advisory, or park.
The first question on each form routes misplaced introductions to the right desk, so picking the closer path matters less than starting the conversation.
Does sending a form commit me — or you — to anything?
No. A form creates a conversation, not an engagement. It does not create confidentiality, exclusivity or any obligation on either side.
Roles, capital commitments, guarantees, authority, conflicts, scope and compensation are defined only in a transaction-specific written agreement. Share only what you're comfortable sharing — anything sensitive can be discussed privately instead.
Is there an application, qualification or accreditation step?
No. No accreditation self-certification, financial evidence, net worth figures, bank, tax or identity documents are requested anywhere on this site, and no attachments are accepted. This is an introduction, not an application.
Who is the capital conversation for?
Private investors, family offices, institutional partners, lenders and strategic capital providers. The capital page sets out what a relationship here rests on — alignment, project readiness, reporting and execution — before any specific project is discussed.
See Become a Capital Partner to read that page and start a capital conversation.
Who is the partnership conversation for?
Landowners, operators, developers and sponsor-level counterparties. Four shapes a partnership commonly takes here: landowner joint ventures (you hold land and would rather participate in the outcome than sell outright), co-development, operating partnerships, and sponsor collaboration on a specific transaction.
See Explore a Partnership to read that page and start the conversation.
Do you publish returns, fees or past project results?
No. No terms, returns, availability or dollar totals are published anywhere on this site, and there is no list of current or past holdings or project counts.
Prior experience is described with its source: attributed to the individual and the entity that employed them, not presented as this firm's track record.
What if I have a specific site or project in mind?
A specific site, project or asset has its own entrance: Submit an Opportunity. If you need scoped professional work on a live project rather than a partnership, Discuss a Project is the right desk.
Can I check the status of something I've sent?
Approved partners can sign in through the "Partner sign in" link in the footer and see their own submissions — each with a reference, a date and a plain stage such as Received, Being read, Replied to, Not proceeding or Parked.
Access is granted case by case, and a stage shown there is not a decision or a commitment.
Ready to start one of the two conversations?
Not sure which fits? Pick the closer one — the first question on each form routes misplaced introductions to the right desk.
